Business Development Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our team in Norcross, GA.

Summary

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible finding and creating technology opportunities with an assigned Account Manager. Together they will be responsible presenting and selling technology solutions to solve organizational challenges in the information technology field, particularly to C-Level executives in the Commercial and Enterprise space.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with lead generation, find / create incremental business opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets / quotas
  • Drive growth of hardware business
  • Manage the day to day relationship within customer base
  • Facilitate interaction between customers and manufacturers
  • Efficient processing of quote and order requests received via telephone, e-mail and facsimile in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take advantage of manufacture product and licensing training

Required Skills

  • 1 year sales experience or 2 years customer service
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Telephone presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Desired Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Knowledge and strong working relationship with at least one of Tiverity’s strategic partners: Cisco, VMware, EMC
  • Cisco  or EMC sales certification preferred
